Verona, September 2026 – Marmomac once again became the meeting point for the international stone, architecture and design community, and for FASA STONE, this year’s edition represented much more than an opportunity to present new surfaces.
It was the expression of a journey that began years ago: a commitment to move ahead of the industry, challenge established manufacturing standards and prove that extraordinary design and greater responsibility towards people can — and should — exist together.
At the heart of our presence in Verona was ZERO by Aurea Stone, the result of a major technological evolution on surfaces. A collection in which realism, depth, color and material richness reach a new level, while its innovative composition is made with crystalline silica-free materials.
For us, progress has never meant choosing between beauty and responsibility.
We wanted both.
A NEW LEVEL OF REALISM
The first impression is visual.
The new generation of ZERO surfaces reveals an extraordinary level of natural realism: complex veining, subtle transitions, translucent effects, mineral depth and tonal variations that reproduce the spontaneous beauty of natural stone with remarkable precision.
Whites become brighter and more luminous. Veins gain depth and movement. Neutral tones become richer and more architectural. Darker designs reveal unexpected nuances depending on the light and viewing angle.
Every detail has been conceived to create surfaces that do not simply imitate nature, but capture its irregularity, its depth and its character.
Achieving this aesthetic quality while completely rethinking the composition of the material has represented one of the most significant technological challenges in our history.
And that is precisely what makes ZERO different.
WHEN TECHNOLOGY BECOMES INVISIBLE
Some technological revolutions are immediately visible.
Others disappear inside the product.
ZERO belongs to both worlds.
Its evolution can be seen in the realism of its designs, the clarity of its backgrounds, the depth of its veins and the sophisticated interaction between color, light and material.
But the most important transformation is hidden beneath the surface.
Years of research, testing, engineering and continuous development have allowed us to rethink how a premium surface can be manufactured while preserving the aesthetic and performance standards expected from a high-end material.
The objective was ambitious: to maintain everything people value about premium surfaces while eliminating crystalline silica materials from their composition.
Not to compromise.
Not to accept a halfway solution.
To redesign the material itself.
WE STARTED BEFORE THE CONVERSATION BECAME URGENT
For years, our industry has witnessed the serious health consequences associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust during inadequate fabrication and handling processes.
For FASA STONE, this was never simply a regulatory issue.
It was a human one.
Long before the subject reached the level of attention it has today, we had already begun researching alternatives, adapting processes and investing in technologies capable of transforming the composition of our surfaces.
Because when the wellbeing of the people who manufacture, fabricate and work with our materials is involved, waiting should never be the strategy.
We chose to move first.
We chose research.
We chose investment.
And we chose to question the conventional way in which surface had been produced for decades.
That pioneering mindset opened a path that today is becoming increasingly important across the entire industry.
FROM REDUCING THE PROBLEM TO REMOVING IT FROM THE FORMULA
The industry has made significant progress in recent years, and many manufacturers are working to reduce crystalline silica content.
Our approach went further.
Rather than simply reducing its presence, ZERO was developed using crystalline silica-free materials.
This distinction represents the result of years of technological development and a fundamental change in the way we understand innovation.
Because genuine progress is not only about responding to today’s requirements.
It is about anticipating tomorrow’s needs.
ZERO demonstrates that a new generation of premium surfaces is possible: sophisticated, technically advanced, highly realistic and designed from the outset with greater consideration for the people who work with them throughout the value chain.
BEAUTY WITHOUT THE COMPROMISE
Creating a different formulation was only part of the challenge.
The greater challenge was making it beautiful.
Exceptionally beautiful.
We knew that responsibility alone would not be enough. Architects, designers, fabricators and homeowners would continue demanding sophisticated surfaces capable of competing visually with some of the world’s most desirable natural stones.
That is why the development of ZERO has gone hand in hand with an equally ambitious aesthetic evolution.
The result is a portfolio capable of reproducing the complexity of marble, quartzite and other natural stones through highly detailed patterns, full-body effects, subtle translucency and increasingly sophisticated color development.
Technology becomes meaningful when it allows design to move forward rather than limiting it.
With ZERO, responsibility does not replace beauty.
It makes a new kind of beauty possible.
LEADING MEANS MOVING BEFORE YOU HAVE TO
Leadership is easy to claim once a direction has become obvious.
The difficult part is choosing that direction before everyone else.
Our commitment to developing surfaces made with crystalline silica-free materials began before the transformation of the industry accelerated and before many of today’s conversations around fabrication safety had become widespread.
That head start matters.
It has given our teams years of knowledge, research and manufacturing experience and has allowed us to continue refining the product generation after generation.
Today, ZERO represents much more than a collection.
It represents what we believe the future of surfaces should look like.
Advanced.
Beautiful.
Responsible.
And constantly evolving.
RESPONSIBILITY THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS
Our commitment does not stop with the composition of the slab.
It extends to the way we think about manufacturing, resources, materials and production processes.
ZERO incorporates recycled components and technologies designed to optimize the use of raw materials and water throughout manufacturing.
For us, responsibility is not a single feature that can be added to a product description.
It is a way of making decisions.
From research and material selection to manufacturing technology and the people involved throughout the process, every improvement matters.
The objective is simple even if achieving it is not:
to create the most advanced material we can, in the most responsible way we can.
And then continue improving it.
MARMOMAC: WHERE MATERIALS BECOME CONVERSATIONS
Marmomac has always been more than a showcase.
It is where ideas are exchanged, where professionals from across the world reconnect, where materials are touched and discussed, and where the future of the industry begins to take shape.
This year, those conversations were especially meaningful for us.
Seeing clients, distributors, fabricators, architects, designers, partners and friends experience ZERO in person reminded us why every year of development behind the product has been worthwhile.
The reaction to its colors, its natural appearance, its depth and the technological transformation behind the material gave us even more confidence in the direction we chose years ago.
But more importantly, it gave us the opportunity to listen.
To exchange experiences.
To understand how the industry is evolving.
And to continue moving forward together.
THANK YOU, VERONA
An event of this scale is never the work of a single company or team.
We would therefore like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who made Marmomac 2026 possible.
To the organization and coordination teams behind the event.
To the professionals responsible for the construction, assembly and preparation of our space.
To our partners and collaborators.
To the entire FASA STONE team whose work continues long before the doors of the exhibition open.
And, above all, to every person who visited us.
Thank you for stopping by.
Thank you for your questions, your curiosity, your feedback and your conversations.
Thank you for sharing these intense days in Verona with us and for allowing us to meet again — in many cases, year after year.
We return home proud of what we presented, but even more motivated by what comes next.
Because ZERO is not the end of a development process.
It is evidence of what can happen when we refuse to accept that things must continue to be made the way they always have been.
THE FUTURE SHOULD BE BEAUTIFUL.
THE FUTURE SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE.
THE FUTURE IS ALREADY HERE.
See you at Marmomac 2027.
